Command-line FTP client w/ SSL & passive. MOVEit Freely 5.5 Free command-line FTP and FTPS client. All 3 SSL modes, X.509 client certificates, passive transfers, CCC, client-side NAT and alternate ports supported. Uses same syntax as built-in "ftp.exe" client for easy drop-in replacement. http://www.standardnetworks.com/moveitfreely

The program works really well. Works as advertised. I like the secure FTP SSL/TLS feature. A new requirement in my area of the business to ensure the data from unknown eyes. An area of improvement will be in examples with the documentation. While the documentation is limited it is still good.

This is just what I needed. I work at a hospital and I have many scripts in place to move patient information to other locations. According to HIPAA regulations, these transfers outside our walls need to be secure. Working with a command-line application lets me easily automate these processes so they can run unattended.

Terrific! It really is a drop-in replacement. I was using windows ftp.exe -s to specify input commands from a file. This neat little utility supported all commands I was using in my scripts. I went looking for an alternative to the old ftp.exe because a partner required passive mode ftp.

Great little automation tool! We use a Ubuntu server with VSFTP. This tool allows us to securely push or pull files from the FTPS server automatically using scripts. Has increased productivity as our user do not have to manually push or pull their files to or from the FTPS server.

Nice tool. It's a nice tool and easy to use.

Just exactly what I was looking for! Our company is in the process of converting to a secure FTP environment. We have many scripts written to help automate FTP processes. I was very concerned after looking on the internet at some of the products available. Imagine my surprise when I found one (MoveIt-Freely) that promised to replace the MS-Windows Command line process FTP.exe. After a very easy installation process, I was almost immediately able to start testing this as a replacement. I did have a slight problem with the return code, but it was easily overcome. Thanks for giving us a great product. I will definitely ...

free, opensource, console telnet client KINSole 1.1.1 KINSole is a free, open source Win32 implementation of client side of the telnet protocol, described in detail in the RFC854 and related RFCs. It uses win32 console API and therefore may run both windowed and in fullscreen character mode. Unlike some other telnet clients it implements many telnet options, like "are you there", "timing mark", etc. described in RFC855, RFC857, RFC1091, RFC1073, RFC1572 and, probably, some others.

what I needed I needed a telnet client because I run vista, I could have enabled the one in the OS but I haven't ever liked the telnet client offered by microsoft. KINSole has proven to be the answer.
